2012 National ATV Show this weekend in Laval

Four-wheeler enthusiasts won't want to miss the 2012 National ATV Show in Laval this weekend to discover the new models along with all sorts of related products including riding gear and accessories, trailers, as well as travel packages.

Arctic Cat will showcase the 2013 Wildcat 1000 Limited, a sport side-by-side vehicle with aluminum bumpers and new bucket seats. Entry-level ATVs such as the 500 CORE EFI and 400 CORE offer ultra-competitive pricing, while the more upscale 700 and 1000 get new 12'' and 14'' wheels, a re-calibrated suspension that increases comfort and stability, and a new Park function on the CVT.

At Can-Am's stand, visitors will see the new 2013 Maverick 1000R sport side-by-side vehicle, which leads the industry with a 101-horsepower, twin-cylinder engine. The 31-horsepower Commander Electric and power steering-equipped Commander models will be on display as well. Also, look for the new Outlander 650 X mr and MAX 1000 X mr, the new Outlander MAX models based on the SST G2 chassis, and the 15% more powerful Outlander 500.

The Chironex Bandito XT 550 EFI is a nicely equipped, two-passenger ATV that will attract many potential buyers with a killer price.

Honda plans to showcase the new 2013 TRX420 and TRX500, which boast revamped styling and upgraded powertrains.

For 2013, Kawasaki launches the Brute Force 300 2x4, an entry-level ATV with a surprising amount of features including a liquid-cooled, 271cc single-cylinder. The KFX 450R sport ATV returns unchanged except for the price, down $1,000 to just $8,999.

Kymco wants to play with the big boys and introduces its first large-displacement ATV: the 2013 MXU 700i.

Polaris will make big waves with the new Scrambler XP850 H.O. EPS LE, a sport-oriented machine equipped with a power steering and the brand's most powerful V-twin among all ATVs. Meanwhile, the exclusive RZR 570 Trail Limited Edition features a Versa Track mode and engine brake system. Also worth mentioning is the launch of two new Ranger models driven by the potent ProStar 900 engine.

Suzuki created a new KingQuad 700 AXi with exclusive colours and graphics, as well as a True Timber XD3 Camo variant, to celebrate 30 years of ATV production. Back in 1983, the Suzuki LT125 became the industry's first four-wheel ATV.

Finally, at Yamaha, don't miss the return of the track-ready YFZ450R, which benefits from a hybrid aluminum chassis and 5-valve engine with fuel injection. The more recreational 2013 YFZ450 (steel chassis) will be available at just $8,999.

The 2012 National ATV Show also offers visitors the opportunity to test-ride their favourite ATV from a selection of over 50.
