2011 Husaberg FS 570 Review

8-31-2010

by Pascal Bastien , moto123.com

The unorthodox configuration of the frame and powertrain offers an unprecedented feeling of balance and a near-perfect blend of agility and stability. In addition to displaying better-than-average Supermotar-like agility in corners, the FS also remained stable enough to slide off the bike and put one knee down, like on a Sportbike, rather than only stick out a preventative boot. I was able to attack the tight turns, hairpins and roundabouts at Mecaglisse in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (Quebec) as if the machine had been specifically programmed for this very track.

The WP suspension components can be adjusted in a flash. One or two clicks and the FS 570 adapts to your style of riding or the riding conditions.

3-for-1
The sexy Swede turns out to be a fast, friendly and ultra-precise Supermotard. The adjustable fork and shock, above-average seat comfort and high-speed stability make it a pleasant everyday steed. On the weekends, a few tweaks will transform the FS 570 into a track monster, either on asphalt or dirt if you have an extra set of wheels and tires designed for off-road use. Basically, you get three bikes for the price of one.

Have fun!
