Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, Quebec - Motorcycle enthusiasts and riders of all skills gathered at Circuit Mécaglisse in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci to attend the largest supermoto and superquad event in Canada. On July 21-22, Supermoto Québec, together with Mécaglisse, presented the 2007 Supermoto X Fest.


Spectators had the opportunity to witness the performance of the best supermoto and superquad riders from all across the province. Several riders competing in different classes were also on hand to put on a spectacular show.

At Mécaglisse, no compromises are made when it's time to organize a racing weekend. Everything was put in place to satisfy both the fans and the competitors. On site, there was a parking lot next to the main area and every safety measure had been planned to ensure a smooth-running weekend. Fans could enjoy all the high-octane action from a stand on top of a hill. What's more, a renowned caterer served food for big and small appetites.


For the first time in Canada, journalists and regular folks alike were invited to test the new KTM, Husaberg and Aprilia supermoto models on Mécaglisse's 2.2-km racetrack. I had the chance to ride a 2007 Aprilia SXV 5.5 Supermoto Edition as well as the 2007 KTM 450 and 560 SMR.
