2015 Triumph Thunderbird Storm ABS
Triumph takes the performance cruiser segment by storm -- literally -- with the 2015 Thunderbird Storm. Producing 98 hp and a tractor-like 115 lb-ft of torque, the muscular 1,597cc inline twin-cylinder uses a modern configuration and delivers amazing results all the way up to redline.
The Thunderbird Storm first rewards cruiser enthusiasts with a very comfortable riding position that includes a low seat as well as close-enough handlebars and footrests. The rigorously developed chassis makes it easy to cover ground quickly even when the road gets twisty, something very few rivals can brag about.
In corners, the fat 200mm rear tire doesn't excessively compromise handling; the Thunderbird Storm remains neutral and precise despite its substantial weight. Head to the countryside, and you'll soon realize that you can ride at a brisker pace than what typical cruisers settle for. In fact, if you slide your butt and stick your shoulder out in a corner, you may even put to shame some naked-bike owners. American and Japanese cruisers are understandably jealous of the beautiful Brit.
