No. 4
2015 Suzuki Boulevard M109R
The M109R's piece de resistance, a liquid-cooled, 1,783cc, short-stroke V-twin, generates ample torque and even more power at higher revs. It's a drag-racing beast that also shows good agility when it matters. The 240mm rear tire does affect handling, but this Suzuki still proves quite precise when entering corners and remains stable around the apex, further aided by smaller footrests than on most cruisers.
Meanwhile, the front discs and dual-piston callipers derived from the V-Strom combine with a rear brake pedal that's conveniently positioned to help slow down the 348kg M109R quickly and safely. This performance cruiser ranks fourth on our list, but leads every other Japanese competitor.
