1) Who do you see as your main rivals for the 2005 season?
For sure my team-mate Scott Speed is going to be competitive and there are quite a few other strong drivers out there also

2) Having tested the new car, what are your thoughts?
The GP2 car is fantastic, a lot of power and it feels much nicer than an F3000. Definitely the best series to prepare for F1

3) How have you been preparing for the season ahead?
I've been training a lot in the gym and working with the iSport team and getting to know them better

4) Do you feel you have developed since a year ago, and if so how?
I have developed as a driver because last year I didn't know any of the European circuits; this has also enabled me to develop technically. With the learning last year I hope I can show some good results this year

5) What are your goals for 2005?
I would like to show my talent and prove that I have the ability to be in Formula One. I am going to push for points scoring positions from the beginning

6) What inspired you to become a racing driver?
I was a big fan of Ayrton Senna and his life inspired me

7) How long did it take for you to pass your driving test?
First time

8) If you could change one rule in racing, what would it be and why?
A podium for five drivers would be quite nice!

9) Which is your favourite circuit?
Spa

10) What has been your most frightening moment in a racing car?
2004 Spa F3000 qualifying, it started raining and I didn't know it was wet through Eau-Rouge. I had a huge moment but did not hit anything!

11) What has been your most exhilarating moment in the car?
Turkish F3 victory in 2003 when I had to start last on the grid and won the race

Hopefully in Formula One in a top team

14) Who do you admire in motor sport the most (past and present)?
Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher

Don't know

16) What is the greatest feature of being a racing driver?
I'm doing what I love, it's my dream job

Mechanical failures

18) What has been your best performance, and why?
In American Formula Renault, I only did the first half of the season and had a couple of really good races including when I won in Barber Motorsports Park, Alabama. I also became the first ever Turkish driver to win a race outside Turkey.

19) What has been your worst mistake?
In the last round of Turkish Formula Three I spun on the formation lap. I couldn't start the race and lost the championship because of it

20) What kind of circuit suits your driving style best?
High speed corners
