Mercedes-Benz's Bruno Spengler is the only DTM driver who succeeded in scoring points in each of the past ten DTM races.

The second round of the 2007 season, held at Oschersleben in Germany, was the last race to date the Canadian contested without scoring championship points.

Bruno Spengler never made a better start into a season than this year. At Hockenheim and Oschersleben, the Quebec driver scored a total of eleven points, standing third in the driver's championship.

Last year, his tally was absolutely empty with two races of the season contested and in 2006; he scored just four points in the opening two rounds.

So far this year, he's been the best driver of the Mercedes-Benz squad.
