TJ Gulla notched his second consecutive WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour podium Saturday, winning the Pro Open portion of the Polaris BIR Championship at Brainerd International Raceway. Gulla (No. 44 Pirtek/Polaris) finished second earlier Saturday in the Pro Stock final.
Gulla took the lead at the start of the 20-lap contest, and held off Ryan Simons (No. 67 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) for the victory. Gulla's Hentges Racing teammate Levi LaVallee, from Longville, Minn., finished third in the No. 108 Pirtek/Polaris.
"With the visibility so poor today, it's important to get out front early," said Gulla. "Once I got away from the pack, it was much easier.
"This feels awesome," added Gulla. "My Hentges Racing team is working so hard for me this year. They're putting everything together so I can capitalize on these opportunities. I just love to come out here and do my best."
