Bobby LePage (No. 244 Pirtek/Polaris), who suffered life-threatening injuries during a race here two years ago, proved his recovery was complete Saturday night as he won the Semi-Pro Open final, part of the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour Air Force Canterbury Snocross.

Mathew Piche (No. 518 Christian Brothers Racing/Arctic Cat) was second, ahead of Cory Davis (No. 160 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat).
LePage suffered serious head and neck injuries here during the 2004-2005 season, and only returned to competitive snowmobiling in the middle of last year. The young rider, known as "The Rage" by Snocross fans, ran a nearly perfect race to net the victory.
"This is just awesome," said LePage. "Returning to Canterbury and making some new memories is so special. It's great to be back. Now, we have to work on tomorrow."
Kyle Pallin (No. 324 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) won the Sport Open race. Matthew Bristow (No. 113 Bristow's/Polaris) and Dusty Miller (No. 400 Miller Construction/Arctic Cat) completed the top three.

The Air Force Canterbury Snocross concludes tomorrow at Canterbury Park with a Pro Open, Pro Women, Pro Veteran and Semi-Pro Open action, as well as a jumping exhibition by world record holder Paul Thacker and a freestyle show by Jimmy 'Blaze' Fejes. Tickets for tomorrow's race start at just $25.
