The day ended with everyone wearing sweat-soaked t-shirts and undies (temperatures were near 33 degrees in the sun, factor in suit and helmet...), massive smiles and looks of satisfaction. All left with a diploma attesting that we had made the grade but then again, with an instructor like Phil, who wouldn't pass? Next step for me? To complete the comprehensive three day training program in order to become eligible to obtain a regional race license.
