The most popular fall sporting event in Quebec has a new name. As of now, the great fall extravaganza that will, on October 2, bring together close to 50,000 motocross fans at the Montreal Olympic Stadium will be known as the Supermotocross Monster Energy presented by Coors Light and Parts Canada/Thor. Pierre Corbeil, promoter of the event, and Patrick Wilson, Vice-President and General Manager of Monster Energy Canada, officialized today a formal three-year partnership making the popular energy drink company the title sponsor of the event.
The involvement of the popular Monster Energy drink in motocross across North America encompasses different series. In the United States, they sponsor the AMA Supercross, a 17-round championship series held at major stadiums in the USA. In Canada, they sponsor the CMRC Canadian Motocross National Championship.
