Wheel bearing issues on 41 Triumph motorcycles from the 2011-2012 model years have led the company to announce a recall. Affected models include the Street Triple and Daytona 675.
Triumph has no details regarding the bearing supplier, or its quality controls and standards. The durability and performance of these bearings is thereby unknown.
Since bearing failure could cause a crash, Triumph dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the wheel bearings.
