Targeting the young at heart after a racylooking road bike that shows great agility and a unique character, Husqvarna's latest creation banks on the 650 cc single-cylinder engine originally developed by BMW for its F-Series and currently found on the G 650 GS. Engineers added a few tweaks in order to maximize performance.
The lively riding dynamics and light weight (170 kg or 375 lbs) of the Concept Strada ''will put a smile back on the face of even the weariest commuter,'' promises the Italian manufacturer.
Husqvarna already confirmed that the production model will go on sale in 2012 along with a wide selection of accessories.
