The BMW K1600GT recently won the ''International Bike of the Year 2011'' award at the Brussels Motor Show in Belgium.

With 41 points from a jury of 25 journalists, the K1600GT defeated the Ducati Diavel (32), Aprilia Tuono V4 APRC (22), BMW K1600GTL (18), BMW S1000RR (16), and Kawasaki ZX-10R (16).
Comfort, performance, and innovative technology helped sway the judges in favour of the K1600GT, which boasts a powerful six-cylinder engine, ABS brakes, traction control, and a navigation system.
With three finalists for this year's award, BMW Motorrad stands out as one of the top bike manufacturers in the world.
