In a move that brings the stylish XR 1200 up to the look and specifications of the models destined to the race series, H-D has just announced an improved version of the attractive machine, the 2011 XR 1220X.

The new model features preload, compression and rebound adjustability from the upgraded Showa components, improved front brakes, rear-set footpegs, a flat-track bar, and a few other parts from the racing kit. It appears that no changes have been made to the engine.
This beautiful bike now becomes even more desirable. Now, if I can only lower the foot pegs to accommodate my integrated tank bag (Belly) …
