The 33rd edition of the Grand Prix de Valcourt, presented by Intact Assurance, will take place from February 20-22, 2015 at Circuit Yvon-Duhamel. This is the only event in Canada to feature six different types of competition on four different tracks, and spectators will witness the return of Jacques Villeneuve after ten months spent fighting and recovering from stomach cancer.
There will be an open-doors day on Thursday, February 19th, and on Friday the action will begin -- culminating with the Pro Open snocross race and Pro Champ 440 finals on the oval on Sunday afternoon.
For the first time this season, TLR Cup riders from the U.S. Midwest will take on their counterparts from the Pro Tour Circuit. Reigning champion Malcolm Chartier will try to keep his crown.
A number of aspiring stars will also participate in the various races including Sabrina Blanchet from Quebec City, who finished 2nd in the Sno Pro 440 finals in Ironwood and Semi-Pro Champ finales in Eagle River. Seventeen-year-old Steven Marquis will make his debut in Pro Champ 440. Danny Poirier, Donavan Asselin, Pier-Luc Trépanier, Jonathan Belzil and others will be on hand as well.
