2011 Suzuki Burgman ZA400 ABS Review

There are many types of motorcycles out there, one for every purpose. A superbike like a Suzuki GSX-R might get your adrenaline pumping, but as a daily rider, it's pretty marginal. 2010 Suzuki Boulevard M50 Review

For 2010, the smallest member of the successful Suzuki M cruiser family gets a facelift clearly inspired by its larger mean brothers, the M90 and M109R, while preserving some of its original uniqueness. Sleek and striking, the new M50 hides its smaller drive train nicely under a combination of burnt orange metallic paint and chrome bits, to the point that it takes a keen eye to differentiate this 800cc cruiser from the 1800 and 1500cc ass kickers. 2008 Suzuki GSX-R1300 Hayabusa Review

While it looks a lot like the previous model, the Hayabusa has been entirely reworked for 2008. Historically, except for a few minor improvements here and there, plus multiple color changes (more or less successful), the most powerful GSX has stayed exactly the same. This Suzuki wasted no time conquering the hearts of high-performance enthusiasts and becoming a true speed legend. However, the competition has evolved considerably and a couple of 1,000cc motorcycles have taken center stage. In fact, the Kawasaki ZX 1400 now leads the GSX R1300 in terms of pure performance and top speed. [more]

2008 Suzuki GSX 650F Preview

When Suzuki engineers wanted to mark the 10th anniversary of the Bandit, they came up with a new liquid-cooled engine, more precisely a DOHC 4-cylinder mated to a catalytic converter that meets the stringent Euro 3 emission standards. This mill was also livelier, smoother and, most importantly, more fuel-efficient than its liquid/air-cooled predecessor. Up until now, this engine was exclusive to the Bandit 650S; for 2008, though, Suzuki decided that it would also power the new GSX 650F, which is nothing more than a slightly sportier Bandit with full fairing. 2008 Suzuki B-King 1300 Preview

With an exuberant powertrain and a futuristic design that seemingly comes straight from a comic book, the new and highly anticipated Suzuki B-King 1300 has everyone talking. Except for the GSX 1100 Katana of the '80s, the DR 750 with its beak-shaped front end and the peculiarly styled Hayabusa, Suzuki designers are usually very conservative when drawing a new model. 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Road Test (video)

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 has been spectacular ever since it hit the market in 2002. The Japanese manufacturer specifically designed this superbike to battle its domestic rivals for the highly coveted first place. Suzuki keeps evolving this road machine by making it even more fabulous. The finesse of the 185 horsepower and the riding precision impressed me from the very beginning of my road test. [more]

2008 Suzuki Hayabusa Preview

Introduced in the late nineties, the GSX-R1300 Hayabusa remained, up until now, one of the rare motorcycles that had never been redesigned by its manufacturer since hitting the market. Indeed, except for a few minor improvements here and there, plus multiple color changes (more or less successful), the most powerful GSX stayed exactly the same throughout the years. It is true that every superlative has been used to describe this bike. However, the competition has evolved and a couple of 1,000cc motorcycles have taken the lead. In fact, the 193-hp Kawasaki ZX 1400 must have deeply hurt the ego of the big Suzuki. [more]

2007 Suzuki Burgman 400 Road Test

Redesigned for 2007, the Suzuki Burgman 400 is more spacious and more pleasant to ride in the city than the previous model. Introduced in Asia and Europe in 1999, this large scooter finally landed on Canadian shores in 2004. Suzuki had started the trend in 2003 by launching the Burgman 650 in North America and, motivated by the surprising success of this mega scooter, the company struck again with the 400. In my mind, the latter's only true competitors are the Yamaha Majesty 400 and the Piaggio BV500. [more]

2007 Suzuki Bandit 650S Road Test

The Suzuki Bandit 650S is a European-style sports bike that is very popular in Quebec. Comfort, styling and versatility are the key ingredients of any motorcycle aiming for success in this category. Upon its introduction on the Canadian market, the Bandit 600 was the lone queen in the standard sports bike category. It was attractive, comfortable, easy to ride and priced to sell. A lot of Bandit 600s found takers thanks to their simple and affordable package. But the competition, which became more [more]

2007 Suzuki SV650S Road Test

Usually, sports bike enthusiasts are more excited about larger displacement or inline four-cylinder engines. However, Suzuki managed to refine a sporty-looking machine that offers the features and functionality of a touring motorcycle. Skeptics will be speechless as this gutsy little bike delivers the kind of performance that makes bigger ones catch their breath -- all this at a ridiculously low price. [more]

2007 Suzuki DR650S Road Test

The dual-sport segment, which includes motorcycles like the DR650S, has been one of the least innovative over the last few years -- at least in the Quebec market. In Europe, dual-sport and supermoto bikes are extremely popular; manufacturers invest huge amounts of time and money to develop them... and the competition is very fierce. Meanwhile, Quebec consumers are still highly influenced by their neighbors of the South and they rarely purchase single-cylinder bikes. [more]

3 ATV models tested (video)

The team at moto123.com went to Duhamel, Quebec, a small town located halfway between Lake Simon and Lake Gagnon, to try out three new 2007 ATV models. Here, we had the opportunity to evaluate these machines in actual riding conditions. We encountered many different types of terrain, from simple gravel roads to demanding muddy trails filled with obstacles. [more]
