Bombarbier Recreational Products is welcoming over 50 engineering students from seven universities in Quebec and Ontario who participated in the BAJA SAE competition. On March 22, 2007, BRP announced with great pomp that a new design and innovation centre would be opened in Valcourt. Eighteen months and fifteen million dollars later, the Laurent Beaudoin Design & Innovation Centre has been inaugurated. The new building, adjacent to BRP's head office, takes up 5,000 square feet, the size of a football field. It will be home to the 60 employees that make up the design team. [more]
