Discover the new 2014 snowmobile models in Laval this weekend

Snowmobile manufacturers will stop by Place Forzani in Laval this weekend (March 22-23) to present nearly a hundred new 2014 models. Polaris, Arctic Cat, Ski-Doo, and Yamaha will all be on hand, along with their entire lineup. Enthusiasts and customers have ever-evolving needs, and the show will beautifully reflect this trend.

Here are the 2014 models you don't want to miss:

Arctic Cat – A new Yamaha-sourced, 1,049cc, 4-stroke, 3-cylinder engine with an Arctic Cat-designed clutch. Also, there's the very first 600cc, 2-stroke engine with direct injection in the brand's history. ZR models get a new digital instrument panel, with the ZR Limited also adding the LXR package which includes a heated seat. In other news, the legendary El Tigré makes its return for 2014.

Polaris -
The Indy family continues to grow with seven new models ranging from 550 cc to 800 cc, including the 800 Indy SP. Meanwhile, the RMK gains a carbon fibre steering column that drop the weight under 190 kg.

Ski-Doo – A new 900cc, 4-stroke, 3-cylinder powerplant with Intelligent Throttle Control, a learning mode, and three engine maps (Sport, Standard, ECO). TNT, Adrenaline, and some GSX snowmobiles receive the REV-XS platform that debuted last year on high-end MXZ models. It comes with new illuminated controls that are more ergonomic. Elsewhere, the Grand Touring and GSX utilize the famous rMotion suspension. And for a limited time, performance snowmobile buyers will get the Ski-Doo Graphics package of their choice at no cost.

Yamaha –
The Viper is back! The new 2014 SRViper is the result of a partnership between Yamaha (1,049cc 3-cylinder engine) and Arctic Cat (ProClimb and ProCross chassis). Available in blue or red, it offers five trim levels: X-TX SE, Deluxe, R-TX SE, L-TX Deluxe, and L-TX SE. Sport models feature new ''Tuner'' skis that reduce fishtailing, while the new Phazer X-TX will please deep snow lovers.
