Just to whet your appetite, here are a couple of models you should not miss:

Arctic Cat
The 1000 LTD offers a host of attributes for work and recreation, including an electric power steering (EPS), a heavy-duty winch (3,000 lb capacity), new Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires, aluminum wheels and a phenomenal 28-mm ground clearance.

The new, beefier and more equipped Prowler HDX 700, based on a 25.4-cm longer chassis than the Prowler XT, ensures a superior combination of comfort and stability over bumps and in corners while providing extra passenger room. Additionally, three people can comfortably sit on board and the adaptable cargo box offers a 454-kg payload. The standard model gets an EPS, a sport steering wheel, digital instruments, a seatbelt reminder and sturdier 14-inch wheels.

Can-Am
BRP is entering the side-by-side ATV segment with five 2011 Commander models, including the 800R, 800R XT, 1000, 1000 XT and 1000X. These aggressively-styled machines deliver power, comfort and capability both for work and recreation.

Obviously, the Valcourt-based manufacturer is not forgetting about traditional ATV fans with the launch of the new Outlander 800 EFI X MR, an outstandingly-equipped vehicle built on an extended chassis from Can-Am's long-wheelbase Max models. The 800 EFI X MR will prove very popular with:

• 30-inch Gorilla Axle Silverback tires wrapping aluminum ITP wheels;
• a raised air intake for the engine featuring the brand's Integrated Snorkel System (ISS);
• a radiator guard;
• bumpers;
• two-tier footrests;
• an air suspension;
• and a winch rated at 4,000 lbs.
