Comfortable touring for two
The 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King proves supremely comfortable at up to 105 km/h; beyond that, an average-sized rider will feel some turbulence against his helmet. However, the seat and riding position remain comfortable over long distances, both for the rider and passenger. The latter also benefits from floorboard-type footrests. Luggage or groceries fit in a pair of large, hard saddlebags, which you can lock using the same key for the ignition.

In the braking department, the big 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King relies on three 300mm discs with 4-piston calipers. While this setup delivers more than adequate braking power, you still have to combine the rear brake with the front one to ensure short stops (as is the case with most cruisers and touring motorcycles that weigh 350+ kg). Next-generation ABS is also part of the mix, and proves more transparent than the original system of a few years back.
