2010 Honda VT1300CT Interstate Long-Term Review

6-7-2010

by Marc Cantin , moto123.com

I removed the Interstate windscreen when I got home and have been riding “Al fresco” ever since. It is a little windy but virtually turbulence free, and I would consider two day rides as is, no problem.

The Interstate looks relatively squat and almost massive next to the tall and slim Fury. (Photo: Rob O'brien)

This all means that the Todo list has grown, as I will look for a Honda or aftermarket accessory to resolve the issue. And if that does not work, engineer Luc want us to do a little R&D with plastic, to work out the best possible shape. Fun but hopefully not necessary.

Both Luc and I really like riding the bike in its present form, as I get more and more adapted to the “Cruiser” riding position.

We will keep you updated on the tire and windshield projects as we go along - and play with this nice new bike.
