As for braking, the TMAX boasts powerful yet flexible brakes, except during emergency stops: you need to learn how to modulate the brakes to prevent the rear wheel from taking off the ground or veering off its course.

Wrap-up
I really liked the 2009 Yamaha TMAX. This is a truly sporty scooter. The TMAX proves nimble and flexible and, while it fares quite well in the city, it definitely prefers the open road.
