The Nov. 24-26 Snocross race is the season opener for the Tour. The event will be telecast on SPEED on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. EST, and will re-air on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Piles of snow up to 12 feet deep have already been created and an estimated 16,000 tons of snow total will be created for the event, which is run just adjacent to Spirit Mountain's ski lodge. The 50-foot-wide track will feature a four-foot base at its shallowest point, and will be ready in more than enough time for the Thanksgiving Weekend classic.

"Temperatures hovering in the low 20s have made for ideal snowmaking conditions," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. Executive Vice President of Operations Kent Lungstrom. "Spirit Mountain's snowmaking team is one of the best in the business, and, weather permitting, they will be making snow through the weekend and into next week."

Great tickets are still available! Advance tickets for the AMSOIL Duluth National can be purchased at www.visitduluth.com or by calling 218-722-4011.
