The WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour operations staff has weathered the storm--literally--as it has begun parking Pro transporters today for this weekend's Southwestern National at Cooperland Raceway.
The event, Round 3 of the 2007 Tour, kicks off tomorrow with a full day of Pro qualifying and Amateur Racing. The event concludes Sunday with Pro finals scheduled for 2:30 p.m. The race will be telecast on ESPN2 on Saturday, July 7 at noon EDT.
"The staff worked triple time today to prepare the parking area after a thunder storm hit Stillwater early this morning," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. Executive Vice President of Operations Kent Lungstrom. "Their work is really paying off as we prepare for the race."
This weekend's race, which was slated as a double header, was re-scheduled to run as a single event due to rainy conditions during the last several weeks. A revised schedule of events is available on the Cooperland event page at www.PowerSportsTour.com.
