The Eagle River Championship Snocross is scheduled for Feb. 23-25, 2007 at the famed and historic permanent snowmobile racing facility. The announcement comes as the Tour finalizes its 2006-2007 schedule, which will be announced soon.

"Eagle River has long been a hotbed of snowmobile racing, and we're pleased to be able to stage a Championship event there," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. CEO Rick Murphy. "There are few venues that can boast the 43-year history of Eagle River, and we're delighted to be able to help write another page in the record books."

"Our 2006-2007 schedule is shaping up to be one of the best on record, and will include the world-class television coverage, as well as the exciting at-venue opportunities the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour has become synonymous with," said Scott O'Malley, president of PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. "We're ready for the snow to fly."

"We're excited to welcome the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour to Northern Wisconsin and to Eagle River," said Todd Achterberg, General Manager of the AMSOIL Eagle River Derby Track. "We're pleased to see the direction the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour has taken, bringing the sport of Snocross racing to a broader and wider audience. We're glad to be a part of that and we're looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled racing weekend."
