POWERSPORTS SNOWMOBILE TOUR KICKS OFF 2006-2007 SEASON IN DULUTH

Though temperatures are relatively balmy and bargain shopping is downright hot, a beautiful white blanket of snow is covering Spirit Mountain today as the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour kicks off its 2006-2007 season at the AMSOIL Duluth National. Racing begins today with Pro qualifying, Amateur finals, as well as fireworks at the popular Duluth-area ski area.

Tomorrow's racing card features Pro finals, as well Semi-Pro and Amateur Finals. The special, non-points X Games 11 event is scheduled for Sunday.

"Snow is literally blanketing the course and we're ready to go racing," pronounced PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. Executive Vice President of Operations Kent Lungstrom. "We're kicking off three days of exciting racing here today, and we're thrilled to be a part of the 15th Annual AMSOIL Duluth National."

The AMSOIL Duluth National runs through Sunday, Nov. 26. Great tickets are still available and can be purchased at the gate.
