Wienen and Kilby Win First of Two Pro Finals During WPSA's Blue Ridge Open Championship

Chad Wienen and Scott Kilby won first two Pro ATV finals of the day Sunday at Daniel Boone Motocross Park. The events are part of the WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour Blue Ridge Open Championship. The double national weekend continues this afternoon with three more Pro finals.

Wienen (No. 44 Team Rockstar, MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki) won a hard-fought battle with John Natalie, Jr. (No. 13 Maxxis, Elka/Honda) to net the victory, his second this season. Natalie finished second, earning his second consecutive runner-up finish. Dustin Wimmer (NO. 191 MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki) drove through the field to finish third after taking a provisional starting position.

"Natalie fought hard, and I fought hard, but it was a clean race," said Wienen, who took the lead for good on lap four after a three-lap battle with Natalie. "Though it looks like I was a bit out of control, I calculated my move. Natalie ran a bit wide, and I took advantage."
