WPSA: Natalie and West Hold Points Leads with Just Two Races left

NATALIE AND WEST TAKE WPSA PRO POINTS LEADS AS POWERSPORTS ATV TOUR HITS THE STRETCH

With just two races left on the 2007 WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour, John Natalie, Jr. and Jesse West took the lead in their respective Pro points championships. Both will attempt to defend their leads Aug. 18-19 as the Tour heads north to Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.

Natalie (No. 13 Elka, Maxxis/Honda), with a recent string of podium finishes, now sits two points ahead of Dustin Wimmer (No. 191 MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki) in the SuperQuad Pro 450 points chase. Chad Wienen and Doug Gust sit third and fourth in points on their Team Rockstar, MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzukis. Keith Little (No. 12 Lonestar/Honda) completes the top five.

In QuadTerrain Pro Stock, consistent efforts by West (No. 888 West Racing/Arctic Cat) have paid off as the Strandquist, Minn. native now sits 14 points ahead of Scott Kilby (No. 207 Warnert Racing/Can-Am). Rory Beckman (No. 10 Jack Link's/Arctic Cat) is third, followed by Daryl Rath (No. 67 Jack Link's/Arctic Cat) and Chris Borich (No. 2 Warnert Racing/Can-Am).

Suzuki continues to hold the lead in the SuperQuad Pro 450 Manufacturers' Championship. Honda sits second, just 16 points back, followed by Kawasaki and Yamaha.

Can-Am leads the QuadTerrain Pro Stock manufacturers' standings, 18 markers ahead of Arctic Cat.
