ucker Hibbert won his second Pro Stock final in as many days Sunday, during the Polaris BIR Championship WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour event at Brainerd International Raceway. In the process, Hibbert (No. 68 Monster Energy Drink/Arctic Cat), from Goodridge, Minn., led an Arctic Cat sweep of the podium. The event was part of the second round of this weekend's double national race here, which comprises two complete rounds of professional racing.

Hibbert took the lead from Dave Allard (No. 167 Blair Morgan Racing Team/Ski-Doo) on the third lap of the 20-lap final, and set sail from there. Garth Kaufman (No. 48 Jack Link's Beef Jerky/Arctic Cat) netted his second Pro Stock podium this season, finishing second. Ryan Simons (No. 67 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) was third, turning in his second podium of the weekend. Simons was second in yesterday's Pro Open final.

Hibbert returned to the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour this season after a three-year hiatus.

"On the parade lap, I found some lines I really liked," said Hibbert. "It took me a few laps to get into the groove, but once I got into that line, I broke free. I just want to go out there and charge as hard as I can every lap.

"I feel really good right now; I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and having fun," added Hibbert. "We're getting our equipment off of the line really quickly and that's paying off. I felt really strong. Arctic Cat has done a great job on the sleds. I really can't ask for anything more. I just go out there, ride the sled and come out on top."

Yesterday's race will be telecast on SPEED on Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. EST, and will re-air on Feb. 7 at 3 a.m. Sunday's event will be telecast on Feb. 7 at noon EST, followed by the re-air Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.

The Polaris BIR Championship, which marks the first visit of WPSA's national Snocross Tour to Brainerd International Raceway, is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 12-14. Racing gets underway at 8 a.m. each day.
