Australian Casey Stoner completed the final day of testing at Phillip Island, in his home country, with the quickest time, repeating what he did the previous day.
The MotoGP champion's best lap was way ahead in front of everybody else's time and it was faster than Nicky Hayden best official lap established in 2006. The new 2008 tyres are apparently perfoming very well.
Speaking of Nicky Hayden, the former champion was second while James Toseland, on his Tech 3 Yamaha to set the third quickest time.
Fellow rookie Andrea Dovizioso was fourth fastest, with Tech 3 rider Colin Edwards fifth quickest.
