Sherrill, N.Y. resident Craig Roberts became the first person to enter this weekend's WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour Eastern National Snocross at Turning Stone Resort and Casino Saturday. The event, Round 4 of the 2006-2007 Tour, kicked off today at 9 a.m. and will continue tomorrow.
Roberts received a free ticket and pit pass for his efforts, presented to him by PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. CEO Rick Murphy.
"This is so exciting," said a jubilant Roberts. "It's so great to have a Snocross race right in my backyard. I can't wait to get out there!"
Along with two full days of Snocross racing, the event will also feature a vendor's row inside the venue's expansive Event Center, demo rides of new snowmobiles from Yamaha and Polaris, as well as a Pro autograph session today at 3 p.m., and many other entertainment opportunities.
Great tickets are still available at the gate. The event is taking place in the Resort's Event Center, just adjacent to the main hotel and casino. About the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour
