It all comes down to this weekend as the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour puts the wraps on its 2006-2007 season in Lake Geneva, Wis. The Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale is scheduled for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Ski Resort just adjacent to the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa.

The event will be telecast on SPEED Channel. Please check local listings for dates and times.

Though balmy weather has ruled the headlines for the last few days, snowmaking crews have been busy making the millions of tons of snow needed for the event. the Tour will compete on a track that has a long history of excitement. Utilizing the natural topography, the Geneva track layout features several major elevation changes, and is among the most scenic on the Tour.

The event will determine two top Pro riders' hopes for a championship. In one corner is sophomore pro racer Ross Martin (No. 837 Judnick Motorsports/Polaris), who has ridden a wave of consistency into the lead in the Pro Open standings. Martin currently holds a nearly insurmountable 45-point lead on Ryan Simons (No. 67 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) in the Pro Open points, and could clinch the title in qualifying here.

They are the only two riders in contention for the Pro Open title, with everyone else mathematically eliminated.

In the other corner is Snocross veteran racer TJ Gulla, who holds the point in the Pro Stock standings. Gulla (No. 44 Pirtek/Polaris) leads the Pro Stock points by just 29 points on Simons. Martin, in third, as well as Mike Schultz (No. 5 Avalanche Racing/Polaris), and Blair Morgan (No. 7c Blair Morgan Racing/Ski-Doo) are also in contention for the top prize.

Other points leaders are:
Semi-Pro Open: Brett Bender (No. 19 Pirtek/Polaris), who now holds just a two-point lead on Cory Davis (No. 160 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat).

Semi-Pro Stock: Dan Ebert (No. 602 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat), who sits just 18 points ahead of Andrew Johnstad (No. 255 Avalanche Racing/Polaris).
