Jordan Szoke and Waznie Racing teams with Honda

Twelve-time Canadian National Champion Jordan Szoke will be defending his 2009 Canadian Superbike and 600 Sport Bike titles aboard Honda CBR1000 and CBR600 machines. Jordan has won the Canadian Superbike championships in 1998, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, adding four consecutive Sport Bike titles from 2006 to 2009, thus making him the winningest rider in Canadian history.

Szoke has worked extensively with Honda in the past, with runner-up positions in the 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2005 Superbike championships. Teaming up with Honda Canada, Waznie Racing Honda and Scott Miller’s Fast Company, this potentially winning combination will certainly make for an exciting 2010 season.

Joining the team will be Jordan's wife Amy Szoke, aboard a CBR600RR in the Amateur 600 class for the entire 2010 season. Amy has competed in various club and national events across Canada and the US since she started racing in 2006.

Ed Note: The arrival of a top level rider like Szoke will add immensely to the show for 2010, as official teams from BMW and Kawasaki will not be alone in competing for wins and the Superbike Championship.

Despite limited funding, expect some hard riding on the part of Szoke, on a par with his 2009 pace, when he was in a tooth-and-nail fight with the now ride-less and much missed Brett McCormick and his Suzuki.
