Motocross: Blair Morgan is working with the physiotherapists at home

11-4-2008

Motocross and snocross rider Blair Morgan of Saskatoon, severely injured when he fell badly during one of the practice session leading to the Montreal Supercross is now home and working hard with the physiotherapists.

His wife Terri has posted the latest news on Blair's official web site.

"In reflecting on the past week since our return to Saskatoon I would have to say that is has been bitter sweet for Blair. He has gotten to hug and cuddle the children as well as have visits with family.

Physiotherapy has been making him sore and very tired. As an athlete he acknowledges the pain and discomfort and has been working through it. The physiotherapists have been working with him to get stronger and have the ability to sit up for longer periods of time.

He has fully recovered for the initial trauma of the crash and is now working on rehabilitation and strength training to work with his body as it is now. He appreciates his friends and family's patience with the limitations he has put on visitation until physiotherapy ceases to make it difficult to entertain visitors.

Tons of love going out to all those who are so supportive." - Terri Morgan
