MotoGP: A second and important pole for Valentino Rossi

He had to wait almost until the end of qualifications, but nevertheless Italian rider Valentino Rossi took is second pole of the season and most importantly aver his archrival Casey Stoner at The Red Bull Grand Prix at Indianapolis.

For once the drivers could go all the way since the track was dry this time around and Rossi could only manage to get a gap of less than 0.084 seconds in front of the current champion.

Great day also for Rossi's teammate at Fiat Yamaha Jorge Lorenzo who ranked third in front of both Americans Nicky Hayden (Honda) and triple AMA SBK champion Ben Spies (Suzuki).
