MotoGP heads to China

4-25-2008

From MotoGP.com

After the first three exciting races of the 2008 season, MotoGP will now leave Europe to go East for the Pramac Grand Prix of China at the Shanghai International circuit. Early leaders, Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo and Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa are battling for the lead of the championship in an all-Spanish confrontation.

The performance of newcomer Lorenzo, in the first three races, was simply amazing. Three poles in three races and a first win in Portugal has been perhaps the main story of the season so far.

Dani Pedrosa has been consistant with a win in his homecountry and Lorenzo´s teammate Valentino Rossi on his improving Yamaha-Bridgestone package and the inconsistent Ducati Marlboro MotoGP title holder Casey Stoner are all likely to have a big word to say in proceedings in China.

In addition, the Tech 3 Yamaha pairing of James Toseland and Colin Edwards with their updated M1 machinery, JiR Team Scot´s exciting MotoGP debutant Andrea Dovizioso and Kawasaki´s fit again John Hopkins should also all be worth looking out for as the season gathers momentum.
