MotoGP: Only a few on hand in Jerez, Spain

Only four regular MotoGP riders, Repsol Honda's Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa and Rizla Suzuki's Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen were on hand for the final day of testing at the Jerez circuit in Spain. Nicky Hayden completed a full day of testing and set the fastest lap of the day on this final lap, using qualifying tyres.
Teammate Dani Pedrosa and last Grand Prix winner was second, working mainly on set-ups and evaluating wider front tires for Michelin.
Australian rider Chris Vermeulen was third in front of teammate Loris Capirossi.
