That all changed Saturday at the AMSOIL Eagle River Derby Track, as the Val-Dor, Quebec native dominated the Pro Stock portion of Eagle River Snocross National.

Morin (No. 27 XP-S/Ski-Doo) took a huge holeshot at the start of the final and left the field in his snow dust as he won his first final of the season.

Hentges Racing teammates Levi LaVallee (No. 108 Pirtek/Polaris) and TJ Gulla (No. 44 Pirtek/Polaris) had their own exciting surprises as the duo transferred from the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), started on the back row, finishing second and third, respectively. It was LaVallee's first Pro Stock podium of the season, and Gulla's third.

"The start is key because it allows you better vision on the field," said Morin, who is contesting his second Pro season with Warnert Racing. "When I got out front, I was able to double more, and build on my lead. What a great race!"
