Though he's off to continued success in the AMA Supercross Series, Tucker Hibbert left a lasting impression Sunday on the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour, by sweeping both the Pro Stock and Pro Open Snocross finals.

The races were part of the Eastern National Snocross at Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
After dominating Pro Open qualifying, winning all three of his heats, Hibbert took the lead in the first turn of the 16-lap final, and was never seriously challenged. Blair Morgan (No. 7c Blair Morgan Racing/Ski-Doo) passed Garth Kaufman (No. 48 Jack Link's Beef Jerky/Arctic Cat) on the final lap to nab second, and his first Pro Open podium of the season. Kaufman was third.
"It felt really good to put together some victories here in New York," said Hibbert, as the large crowd chanted "Don't go..."This is my last race of the season, so it feels really good to come out on top.
"(The Snocross season) will really help me as we go into the Motocross season," added Hibbert, who won the Pro Stock final earlier Sunday, in similar fashion. "Getting the momentum going, feeling confident and comfortable is definitely going to help us.
Hibbert hinted he'd like to return to the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour next season.
"It was a lot of fun this year," said Hibbert. "If I continue to improve in Supercross, I can't see any reason why I can't come back to Snocross, but I'm not making any decisions right now."
Chris Kafka (No. 991 Pirtek/Polaris) won the Semi-Pro Open final. Katejun Coonishish (No. 101 Warnert Racing/Ski-Doo) took second on the final lap, and cruised to his third consecutive podium. Cory Davis (No. 160 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) was third and won his first Semi-Pro Open podium of the 2006-2007 season.
Kyle Pallin (No. 324 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) won the Junior 14-15 final.
