In relatively balmy weather on Saturday, Team Hentges rider TJ Gulla (No. 44 Pirtek/Polaris) set the fastest time in Pro Stock qualifying, part of the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour Ski-Doo Grand Prix de Valcourt.

The event, which is being held today and tomorrow at Circuit Yvon Duhamel, is Round 5 of the 2006-2007 schedule.

Ryan Simons (No. 67 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) will start second on the grid for tomorrow's final, ahead of Mike Schultz (No. 5 Avalanche Racing/Polaris).

The Ski-Doo Grand Prix de Valcourt continues tomorrow with Pro Stock and Pro Open finals, as well as Semi-Pro Open action. Interestingly, Ski-Doo will unveil its new XP snowmobile tomorrow in the Pro Open class.
