Canadian racer Darren James to compete in the British Harley-Davidson XR 1200 Trophy Race Series

3-24-2010

by Marc Cantin , moto123.com

In a move that will have a positive impact on his racing in Canada, Harley-Davidson stalwart racer Darren James just announced that he will participate in non-clashing races of the inaugural Harley-Davidson XR 1200 Trophy race series, as part of the 2010 British Superbike Championship.

James is sure to raise his game racing against incredibly competitive UK scratchers, and learn a whole new set of tracks. And with former GP rider and master developer Jeremy McWilliams as team leader, our boy is sure to learn a thing or two about racing at or just above the limit.

You can be sure that James will bring back all that technical and riding knowledge when he comes back to Canada and race a similar machine in the newly announced Pro-Am series in Canada, as in the Superbike and Pro 600 Sport Bike classes aboard his Buell 1125R machines.
