Packed up early Saturday morning and headed to Port Colborne Ontario for the first round of the CMA Hare Scrambles. Upon arrival it was obvious that it was going to be very dusty. The course is flat, fast and rock hard clay. I had a good start and got out front early. Mike VandenHoek and I swapped spots a few times for the first half of the race. After the gas stop Mike had some bike troubles and had to pull out. Chris Van Hove began to apply some pressure till the end of the race. Chris and I came to the finish with 2 minutes left so we had one more lap to do (8 total). I ended up with the win which was a good start to the series.
