As expected, Rockstar Makita Yoshimura Suzuki teammates Ben Spies and Mat Mladin, dominated the two rounds of the AMA Superbike championship that were presented at the Infineon raceway in California last week-end, making it four victories in a row for Spies.

Spies' perfect points haul weekend narrows the championship gap considerably as he now trails his rival by single digits, with Mladin leading just 242 to 233.

Another difficult weekend for Canadian Miguel Duhamel as he finished the first race on Saturday at the tenth spot on his Honda CBR1000RR. Things were much better on Sunday as he was able to improve to 7th at the start/finish line.

The AMA Superbike Championship next joins the World Superbike Champion on May 29-June 1 at Miller Motorsports Park.
