A problem with the fuel pump on 418 Yamaha BW 125 scooters in Canada could limit fuel supply, causing hard starting, affecting performance and/or stalling the engine, the company announced as part of a recall.

These effects could increase the risk of a crash, so Yamaha dealers will replace the fuel pump with an updated design.
