Victory customers should be aware of a recall on 15 different models including the
2013 Boardwalk Judge, the 2012 Hammer S, Kingpin, Ness Vegas and Vegas, as well as the 2012-2013 Cross Country, Cross Roads, Hammer 8 Ball,
Hard Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Ness Cross Country, Vegas 8 Ball and Vision.
A total of 742 units are affected.
On certain motorcycles, the throttle cable retention nuts may not have been adequately tightened. Should they loosen, the throttle may be prevented from opening or closing normally. This could result in a loss of vehicle propulsion or make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle unless the clutch lever is depressed, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
To fix the problem, Victory dealers will tighten the throttle cable retention nuts to the specified torque.
