2014 Honda CBR650F
This machine can seemingly do it all, from cruising to attacking and everything in between. It's also comfortable enough to make long highway trips. Styling, material selection, and build quality rival much more expensive bikes, while riding dynamics are surprisingly sharp for the price. Sure, the CBR650F ($9,499) doesn't generate as much low-end torque as 2- and 3-cylinder competitors, but it makes up for it with extra grunt at higher revs -- not unlike Honda's RR models. Here we have one of the best surprises of 2014 and our No. 1 bang-for-the-buck street bike on the Canadian market.
