The comprehensive, MotoGP-style instrument panel features a digital tachometer with rev limit indicator, air and coolant temperature gauges, two trip metres and a fuel reserve gauge among other things. The large digital display is also used as the control panels for the available DDA system.

Bottom line
After three years, Ducati revamped its junior superbike. The 2011 848 EVO isn't exactly revolutionary, but it maximizes performance from mechanical and dynamic standpoints while sporting racier looks and offering typical Ducati thrills at a lower price. And thanks to the updated engine, the machine packs quite a punch, too – obviously not as crushing as the larger 1198 models. Mere mortals can rejoice!
